Audit

An independent look at your numbers and risks

An audit is more than a legal requirement. Done well, it shows where you lose money, where you are exposed to tax risk and how solid your internal processes are.

Statutory financial audits are performed together with financial auditors authorised by ASPAAS.

Who it’s for

When you need an audit

Some companies are legally required to have their financial statements audited. Many others choose to because a bank, an investor or a business partner asks for it — or for the shareholders’ peace of mind.

It’s for you if

  • You exceed the legal thresholds for a mandatory audit
  • Your bank or an investor requires audited financial statements
  • You are buying or selling a company or a stake
  • You want to know your exposure ahead of a tax audit
  • You have concerns about internal processes or controls

FAQ

What clients ask us

How long does an audit take?

A financial audit for a mid-sized company usually takes 2–6 weeks, depending on the quality of records and availability of documents.

What is the difference between an audit and a tax health check?

A financial audit gives an opinion on the financial statements. A tax health check focuses on tax risks and fixing them before an inspection.

Can you audit a company you also advise?

Not for a statutory audit: independence rules do not allow it. We recommend the right service for each situation.
